GENEALOGY LIBRARY
Our Genealogy Library is located at the rear of Clubhouse 5, in Room 1. The entrance is adjacent to the new elevator. It has a number of genealogy books and many periodicals for examination. There is a computer loaded with two genealogical programs for trial by members and for demonstrating their effectiveness. Another computer connected to the internet is nearby. (Soon to be connected)
Interested members must be thanked for donating a number of pieces of equipment to increase the library's appearance and effectiveness. These include two filing cabinets, a number of high-quality bookends, many file folders. The library committee has met to straighten out the equipment. Much remains to do.
Usage by members during the open hours on Thursday afternoon, 1 to 3 PM has so-far been sparse. For the time being, the library will be open to members only by prior appointment.
